I am a registered Ordained Minister in good standing with my denomination. I have served honorably in the United States Army and I am a Vietnam Veteran (1967 – 1969). I am a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. I was awarded the Military Order of the Purple Heart Citation for my outstanding involvement within the community in 1999.

I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Bible; a Bachelor of Arts in Theology; a Master of Arts in Religion; a Master of Divinity; and a Doctor of Theology, and a Doctor of Christian Counseling. I Earned a  Ph.D  in Theology  and  Apologetics. I have served as a Senior Pastor, and Associate Pastor; an Evangelist; a Bible Teacher; a Chaplain; and a Counselor and a Christian Education Pastor.

I am  a Licensed Clinical Counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association.  I am also a member of Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling.  My wife Charlotte and I will be married for 57 years this June 26 2022; we have two children and 5 grandsons and have been blessed with an awesome Son-in Law April 9, 2016. We are excited to add that We have our first Great Grandson–Daniel Preston Newman– ( Born June 17th. 2022) The Proud Parents are Daniel Steven and Natalie Newman.
